The BMW XM Label Red, weighing 6,000 lbs, has been chosen as MotoGP's track safety car for the year 2024

BMW has been the "Official Car of the MotoGP" for 25 years and awards a shiny new car to the fastest qualifier in the championship.

Bagnaia won the BMW M Award last year as well, joining previous winners such as Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, and Marc Marquez.

The BMW M2 safety car has been replaced with a new BMW model for the 2023 season, which has a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor.
