The 2025 Audi A3 TFSI e PHEV can deliver as much as 268 horsepower and provides an electric range of 89 miles.

The latest model additionally provides compatibility for DC fast charging with a capacity of up to 50 kW.

The updated Audi A3 TFSI e is equipped with a new 1.5-liter engine and a 25.7 kWh battery.

 The most powerful of the two models reaches 100 km/h in  6.3 seconds.

 Like the rest of the 2025 A3 range, the TFSI e model's exterior and interior  have also been refreshed.

The 2025 Audi A3 family has grown with the introduction of the new A3 Sportback TFSI e in Europe, a plug-in hybrid that offers a longer all-electric range while also improving power and performance over its predecessor.

 The 40 TFSI e and 45 TFSI e versions are available in Europe, with prices starting at 44,200 euros (approx.$48,200) and 47,700 euros (approx.$52,000), respectively.

 Both models are powered by the new 1.5-liter TFSI evo2 engine, which has a higher compression ratio than the old 1.4-liter TFSI.

 In the 40 TFSI e, it develops 148 hp (110 kW) and 250 Nm of torque, while in the 45 TFSI e it develops 174 hp (130 kW) and 250 Nm.

 In addition to the engine, an electric motor integrated into the housing of the six-speed S-Tronic transmission  drives the front wheels.

 It alone delivers 114 hp (85 kW) and 243 lb-ft (330 Nm) of torque, for a total of 201 hp (150 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) in the 40 TFSI e, and  268 hp (200 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) in the 45 TFSI e.
